Life In Israel
Life in Israel is like a rollercoaster — full of ups, downs, sharp turns, and at times, it feels like we're completely upside down.
In just the past month, we've faced raging fires and ongoing ballistic missile attacks from the Houthis in Yemen. Thankfully, only one missile made it into our country. It seems like we find ourselves mourning often. Just recently, a young mother was tragically shot in a terrorist attack on her way to the hospital near Judea and Samaria to give birth to her son. The precious baby passed away two weeks later. Heartbreaking tragedies like these weigh heavily on us, and with the ongoing war, we continue to pray for peace and for the safe return of our hostages.
And yet, even in these difficult times, we lift our eyes to heaven. Our Almighty God — who never slumbers nor sleeps — remains our refuge and fortress. In the midst of sorrow and uncertainty, life carries on.
I'm wrapping up the school year with a few musical concerts, and our English-speaking fellowship continues to grow with faithful, consistent attendance.
We're especially grateful for two seekers who've been joining us regularly! Recently in our Hebrew fellowship, a young man began questioning our faith and expressed a desire to dive deeper into studying the life of King David. Even amid war and struggle, people are searching for hope — and what a privilege it is to share it.
