Light From The Galilee

Just last week, after months of talking with our neighbor, she joined my ladies' Bible study and thoroughly enjoyed seeing God's light shine through each woman. She witnessed tremendous faith and heard testimonies of God's grace and hope. She is a secular Jewish South African with a new age background. She admires my faith and is drawn to discussions about God as she searches for peace.

There is definitely a battle going on over her soul—please pray for our neighbor.

In our Hebrew fellowship, we also had a pleasant surprise when a couple returned to our meeting. She is Jewish, and her husband is Muslim. Recently, he had run away from home for several days and became involved with drugs. She came to our meeting a few weeks ago, and together we prayed, asking God to bring him home and rescue him from addiction.

It was such a joy to see them both together again as we discussed Scripture and prayed for one another. Please continue to pray for them, as he is not yet a believer and still struggles.

In addition to these requests, we have an Israeli lady who regularly attends my women's Bible study and our English fellowship. She loves the Bible and is very open to the New Testament but continues to seek the truth.

Some of the other women who attend our meetings also have unbelieving husbands—please pray that their hearts would be softened and that they would be drawn to the Lord, joining their wives in worship and faith.
